Statement Blazer // 3 ways

I am back this week with a new  blog post which I am excited about! Over the last week or two I’ve really lacked inspiration for blog posts so I’ve just not bothered writing one but after a very inspiring shopping trip I feel like I’m ready to start posting again.

I really feel that the shops are doing it all right at the moment with spring/summer trends! I found myself trying on so many fabulous garments that got me very excited for the summer season. I particularly found myself drawn to a bright pink blazer from Primark. I have always always always wanted a statement blazer that I can work into my wardrobe to bring outfits to life and this certainly meets all expectations. To show the versatility of this blazer I have pulled together my 3 ways to wear it.

  1. The casual way…

This is my idea of a thrown together outfit that you could wear shopping, to work on a dress down day or just chilling around the house without spending forever thinking about your outfit (which I love to do)

I have paired this with a pastel floral shirt from H&M which is perfect for the spring, my black jeans from Primark and finally my pastel pink leather converse from Schuh. These converse need their own shout out as they are the most “me” converse ever and they are leather!!

Shirt – H&M – £12.99

Shoes – Schuh – £57.00

2. The Blazer dress combo

This has to be one of my favourite combos for this blazer as it just adds sophistication to this dress and makes the overall outfit pop!

I have paired it with another H&M piece – this ruffle hem dress, it’s such a cute light and floaty accent to this outfit. As you can tell H&M had me hooked with all their stuff! I added a simple black clutch and black heels both from Bershka (Both purchased in Budapest).

3. The bold way

This was a very bold choice for me outfit wise as I wouldn’t usually go for wearing a blazer as just a top with nothing underneath but I have to say I love it! This kind of outfit is perfect to wear for a occasion as it has that dressed up feel with the deep plunge this blazer gives.

I have paired this with a pair of skinny trousers from H&M and the same Bershka heels from the above outfit.

I think that everyone needs to get their hands on a statement blazer (or this blazer) this spring/summer to jazz up your wardrobe 🙂
